Welcome

So here I am.  Finally writing the blog I have been creating in my mind for years.  If you want to know more about me and why I have created this blog, check out the about me tab.

If you want the shortlist here it is.  I am a mother, an artist, a musician, a writer, a student.  I am the chef, the dietician, the timekeeper, the housekeeper, the shopper.  I am the lawn service, the taxi, the emergency errand runner.  I am the appointment maker, the remember to refill the medicine-er, the list-maker, the household manager.  I am the dog trainer, the spiritual adviser and the mental health professional.  I am the wife of a wonderful hardworking man with ADD and two jobs.  I am the mother of a 6-year-old gifted, hilarious entertainer with his share of health issues.  I am a co-business owner with my mother, a challenge in itself.  I am a stay at home, working mother who joyfully home schools.

All of these things create a lot of friction, peace, and hilarity.  They force me to stay educated, stay on top of things and stay centered.

Be prepared not to know which one of me you will meet when you read my blog, and please…share in the conversation!  Let me know you’re out there!  I can’t be the only one who is all of these things!

  1. Hi, Jen ~ I tried to respond earlier, but not sure if it went through, so sorry if duplicate. I had no idea you were an artist. Is your stuff posted online? See mine at: http://www.ixumun.deviantart.com/gallery/, or on my FB account. I had amassed an eclectic reference library in anticipation of homeschooling my children if I ever had any. Kudos to you. You have a dog now? Yay! Say hi to Kim and Isaiah and Levon for me. Best regards…

    • Thank you Andrea! No, all of my art lives in my house for the most part. Every once in a while I post a photo I took “for me”. And yes. We have a dog now, he is a nuisance, but I love him to death! And Levon lives in the basement full time now, she doesn’t want to leave 🙂
